D3STΛB1LIZED (written in “l33t” language and pronounced 'DESTABILIZED') is an independent and non-profit collective of artists, located on Earth 3.0. With an uncompromising cyberpunk aesthetic that’s highly influenced by blockchain, gaming, motion picture and Creative Commons digital art by the visionary BEEPLE, DESTABILIZED’s signature is a zeitgeist hybrid.
Described as a riot on stage, DESTABILIZED have been invited to perform their live holographic-inspired shows to thousands, at some of the most eclectic music and gaming festivals including the Xbox Arena Festival, the European Music Day, the Red Bull DJ Booth, the Schoolwave Festival and the League of Legends Tournament at eGaming.
In January 2020, DESTABILIZED began releasing digital singles from their debut EP ‘Regeneration Z’. In March of the same year, their single ‘Move Your Feet’ featured on the Netflix Original Series, Élite, alongside Billboard artists including Swedish House Mafia and the song received coverage on The Oprah Magazine, Screenrant and IGN Greece while reached the Top 40 in the Electronic Charts of iTunes in Italy and Canada. Their single ‘90 to Go’ reached the Top-6 at the multinational charts at Stagelight, hosted by Linkin Park, and signed to a Mexican sequel with cast members from Spiderman, Suicide Squad and The Legend of Zorro (TBA, 2021/2022). Their catalogue has entered 9 times so far the Top-100 in iTunes and Deezer in Argentina, Mexico, and Russia.
As a way to breath through the economic crisis, DESTABILIZED debuted as DJ avatars at the non-profit 2013 Schoolwave Festival in Athens with gas masks and UV outfits at Theater of The Rocks-Melina Mercouri, where rock icons The Prodigy and Nine Inch Nails preciously honoured. They performed Mixing_The_Proph3cy, a DJ-Band performance featuring songs by their favourite artists including The Prodigy, Skrillex, Knife Party, deadmau5 and Quemists, among others.
DESTABILIZED’s cyberpunk otherworld is dedicated to fostering change - whether that’s raising awareness about environmental and societal issues, the consequences of economic disruption, or showcasing how technology can contribute to evolving the planet, humanity and consciousness.
In 2019, DESTABILIZED’s Psy-trance mix ‘Illuminaughty’ reached the Top-3, Top-10, and Top-30 positions globally in the Psy-trance, Trance and EDM charts on Mixcloud, ranked alongside major EDM artists like Paul Oakenfold, Steve Aoki, Armin Van Buuren, Vini Vici, Astrix, Deadmau5, Infected Mushroom, and Martin Garrix. They also shared the same stage with Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist Gus G. at Ardas Youth Festival and headlined the 10th Schoolwave Festival at Water Plaza in Athens, at a stage famously frequented by Pet Shop Boys, Massive Attack, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Disturbed.
DESTABILIZED’s third chapter ‘Metahuman IX’ is a series of spontaneously released records - the drops. ‘Metahuman IX’ features hard-hitting cinematic single ‘Infected (I Am Different Now)’ a powerful reaction to the global pandemic with cinematic instrumentation and heartfelt vocals that call out for change, follow-up by single ‘Release Yourself’, an unapologetic collision of EDM and Hip-Hop which empowers the collective awakening.
Their latest release is What The Hell Is Going On featuring excerpts from the CGI short-film ZERO DAY by the visionary artist Beeple (Christie’s, Imagine Dragons, Eminem, Skrillex, Zedd, Space X). The song is a polymorphic mix of hybrid EDM which echoes the crisis, the fight for renaissance, the victory against an invisible enemy and embraces the restart of a new and fair world.
DESTABILIZED invite you to join the evolution, in an era where collective change and unity is the only way forward.
